My name is CH MACH Meme Zee's Bob-A-Loo E, CGC, CD, RN . I am best known as "Loo E". I believe I am the first Havanese in the country to have both a MASTERS AGILITY CHAMPIONSHIP (MACH) and a conformation CHAMPIONSHIP (CH). Plus, I have completed a title in obedience CD and Rally. These titles went toward recognition as a Versatility dog presented by the Havanese Club of America. All of this was accomplished by me and my breeder/owners. The MACH was the most difficult and time consuming. But we finally made it happen. So now we make the next career decision---another MACH, more obedience or Rally obedience? One good thing, I have finally learned to sit still for a little while anyway. I would hate for my remedial sit classes to go to waste. And there is a lot of sitting required during the performance of many of the obedience and Rally exercises. My son Tux also has his MACH and a CDX (Companion Dog Excellent) and RO (Rally Open). Both of us were invited to the Eukanuba National agility completion in California a couple of years ago. We were 2 of only 5 Havanese in the country who were invited.
The CH means I have completed a title of beauty from the AKC. I am soooooo glad to have this over. I personally find conformation contests to be pretty boring. There are no jumps or tunnels or anything to keep your mind alive. Further, you are not required to have one live brain cell in order to just stand there and bat your eye lashes at the judges. The CGC is a title I earned for demonstrating that I am a Canine Good Citizen. The CD means that three (3) different obedience judges rated my behavior in obedience competition acceptable to be called a Companion Dog. This is the first level of obedience. I know the exercises to compete in higher obedience classes but truthfully I don't think I am cut out to actually compete and win in any more obedience. In agility one only has to sit once but in obedience, you have to sit a lot and for a long time. Worse yet, at the level I need to go into, I will most likely have to sit all ALONE with sometimes huge dogs as book ends on either side of me eyeing me as potential for their lunch. It takes nerves of steel to stay in position that long. Meme says it was easier leaving teenagers home alone than to leave me alone with a bunch of strange dogs. I alos have a Novice title in Rally obedience. That is a fun thing to do and I will likely compe in that venue over the next year or so. (I hope)
My Mom's name is Baby or Margarita Baby. (She has been taking Remedial Sit Classes for the last 12 years and still doesn't have a reliable "sit") My dad's name was Brody (Elfin Snowhite Startin' Over); at one time, he was the top ranked Havanese dog in the country . He had more Championships than I can even begin to list. He was a wonderful ambassador for the breed and will be long remembered. Two of my brothers, Izzy and Zorro, finished their AKC championships several years ago. I have 9 other brothers and sisters whose pictures are on Mom's page. I am also a Daddy of several girls and boys. In fact, one of my boys, Tux completed his MACH a couple of years ago. I liked the process of becoming a daddy. I just truly didn't much care for the midnight feedings that woke everyone up and all the little feet around during the day. Several of my children have completed their AKC championships. One, Yoo Hoo, who lives with us, also has her Master Standard and Masters Jumpers agility titles and is currently competinging Rally. I also have another daughter living with us. Her name is Lahtee Dah and she is a dilly. She is competing in Rally obedience and really needs to take a remedial "attention" class.
I believe that we each have our special strengths. My strong suits are my humble personality and phenomenal speed. I used to have a great coat until I was clipped down to be more "aerodynamically efficient". I like it better but Meme cried when she saw me.
